It's been over a year since I uploaded anything, and my old journal was, well, old, so this is just kinda clearing it out. o:

Anyone else Rubiks cube? Anyone? I've been working on building a lovely little speedcube, yes I have, and then perhaps I can start speedsolving. Tips? Such as, what method should I learn? Fridrich, Petrus, Roux? Help?

And I've been band camp-ified, and now feel a little strange if I don't have a clarinet in my hand, having clutched it at all times for seven hours a day last week.

Oh, but right before we went on to perform our marching band show for our parents, as a preview thing, I went and dropped my clarinet. On the pavement. And nooo, it wouldn't land bell first, where it would've been okay, it landed mouthpiece first. And completely shredded it. And made me useless. The entire performance. And first clarinet parts are mildly high, and thus noticable. So I'd be standing on the sideline, marking time in this one set, while all the other clarinets are playing the melody, and I'm right in front of the parents, conspicuously silent.

Yes, I'm bitter, and I'm not getting over. Yes, it is pathetic that that's the kinda thing that bothers me. It was a really good mouthpiece!
